If you have ever wanted to try SCUBA diving, then Nassau is the perfect place. In just 3-hours you'll have a short lecture, water skills practice (pool or beach), and a 1-tank boat dive with your instructor as your buddy.

SCUBA Diving at Stuart Cove’s is fun and easy! Our Introduction to SCUBA Diving course is designed for people who want to try SCUBA diving for the first time. In just 3-hours our professional instructors will have you diving with them on a beautiful tropical reef. Your program begins with a short presentation that teaches you about the basics of diving, followed by practicing SCUBA diving skills in a pool or shallow beach area. Then it’s onto a boat for your first dive on a shallow reef. During this dive your instructor will guide you on your first introduction to the Bahamas’ magnificent underwater world.
Included: Round-trip bus transportation, academic orientation, water skills practice, 1-tank ocean boat dive, equipment included is mask, fins, BCD, regulator, tanks and weights. Wetsuits are required for dives. You can bring your own or rent one in the dive shop for an extra fee. The boat you will travel on includes ice and fresh drinking water.
Excluded: Wetsuit ($12 rental), snacks, other beverages besides water, and tips to crew. The staff at Fin Photo are available to shoot still pictures of you and the scenery of this dive so that you have a memento of your underwater experiences to take home. (Additional fee involved.)
Requirements & Restrictions
Participants must be at least 10 years of age and with a participating parent or guardian. Young children must be of adequate size to fit into the equipment and capable of carrying a 40-pound tank on their back. Children under the age of 4 are not permitted on vessel. Participants must be in good physical health and cannot be pregnant, no asthma, no epilepsy, no diabetes, no personal history of heart attacks or heart problems, no strokes, no recently diagnosed high blood pressure, no antidepressant medications or other potential contraindicated medications, no problems equalizing your ears on an airplane or in the mountains.
