Acquiring a Health Travel Visa is required in order to enter into The Bahamas. All visitors are required to opt-in to mandatory COVID-19 health insurance when applying for their Health Travel Visa. Should a visitor test positive for COVID and be forced to quarantine, the insurance will cover travelers for the duration of their stay in The Bahamas. Please visit https://www.travel.gov.bs for your Health Visa Application and information.

Currently, the United States does require proof of a negative COVID test in order to travel into the country. You will need to get tested no more than 3 days prior to traveling by air into the United States and show your negative result to the airline before you board your flight, or be prepared to show documentation of recovery (proof of a recent positive viral test and a letter from your healthcare provider or a public health official stating that you were cleared to travel). Covid testing is readily available in Nassau, Bahamas, at all most hotels, making it easy to meet this requirement.
